Hockey schedule fatigue betting system

Hockey's calendar is merciless. This template pairs a rested home side with limits on the visitor's week, in ordinary total-line contexts.

A hockey season packs 82 games, long road trips and constant back-to-backs into six months. Fatigue shows up in third periods and on the penalty kill. This template builds a rest differential from the schedule alone, then keeps only matches priced in a normal scoring range.

How the filter tree works

  • Match density: the away team must have played at most 3 games in the last 7 days.
  • Rest days: the home team has had at least 2 days off since its previous game.
  • Line value: the closing total must sit between 5.5 and 7 goals, standard hockey environments only.

What to watch

  • The total-range condition is context, not a bet: it excludes unusual matchups where the market expects extreme scoring.
  • Schedule edges are public information; modern lines shade for back-to-backs, so the question is what remains after the adjustment.
  • Goalie rotations absorb some fatigue invisibly; the filter cannot see who starts in net.

Tweaks to try

  • Demand 3+ rest days at home for a sharper differential.
  • Point the system at a market by adding a moneyline odds range.
  • Flip it to study rested road teams against tired hosts.
