Unbeaten at home betting strategy
Some grounds are genuinely hard to visit. This template keeps home teams that have not lost any of their last five home matches.
Home fortresses are a real phenomenon: familiar surroundings, travel fatigue for visitors and crowds that matter. This template captures the idea with one precise condition, a home side that has avoided defeat in each of its last five matches in front of its own fans.
How the filter tree works
- Result streak: the home team must be on a no-loss streak of at least 5 matches, with the venue scope set to home games only. Draws keep the streak alive; only a defeat breaks it.
The venue scoping is the lesson here: the same filter measured across all venues tells a different story.
What to watch
- Unbeaten is weaker than winning. A team that draws every home game qualifies, which matters a lot for the moneyline.
- Fortress reputations are priced in. Expect short home odds on most qualifying matches.
- Five straight home games span two to three months of calendar, so squads and form can shift inside the window.
Tweaks to try
- Switch the metric from no-loss to wins for a stricter fortress.
- Stretch the streak to 8 or 10 and watch the sample shrink.
- Pair it with an odds range to keep only playable prices.
