Head-to-head win run betting system

Commentators love the line: they have won the last few meetings between these sides. This template encodes it exactly, a current winning run in the direct matchup, and lets the backtest decide whether the pattern earns money at closing prices.

How the filter tree works

• H2H results streak: the home team must have won at least the last 2 consecutive meetings with this exact opponent, counted at any venue.

Compared with the head-to-head rate filter, the streak version demands that the wins be the most recent meetings, unbroken.

What to watch

• Two meetings is the thinnest evidence a filter can rest on. Expect noise to dominate any signal.
• Matches against the same opponent can be a year apart. The team that won twice may barely resemble today's lineup.
• Because qualifying teams are usually stronger, the odds are often short, so a small edge disappears quickly into the price.

Tweaks to try

• Raise the run to 3 or more and watch how rare the spots become.
• Add an odds range to skip unbackable short prices.
• Test the away mirror: visitors who won the recent meetings.
